Final chair! yay
So finally finished my chair and I'm pretty pleased. I decided to put the bar code logo for Design Made Trade on the back, I thought it would look good if it used up an entire surface. It also (to my surprise) is able to support a person pretty well so it will definitely be able to seat a child. The only thing I would change is the way the panels are slotted, they are still visible from the side view and does not look as neat as I would have liked, but to change it I would have to cut out more of the main frames which wouldn't make the chair as strong.

Starting the final model...
So I started cutting out the parts that make the frame which are the 2 biggest pieces...
I then started to create the cuts for the fold and was planning to do a V bend but that completely so had to start again and decided to make all the bends as mitre bends to play it safe
Used pliers to take out cardboard from the bends, very handy...

my 1:1 cardboard model
This is kid's chair model, its pretty sturdy but I think i need to fix the proportions, the seat seems too small. I decided to put an extra panel at the back just to make it look neater but kept the upper part exposed so it can maybe be used as a small shelf. I also need to find a way to secure some flaps underneath the chair.
