Concept 3

Concept 2

Concept 1

Concept 3

The 3rd concept is a children's stool. The middle section is made up of 2 parts that interlock and then a cross and a circular base are attached to the top and bottom. Aside from sitting on them, children can use multiple stools to play a game of noughts and crosses by flipping the chair on either side.

Concept 2

The first piece in this concept is folded into the main frame which is then reinforced by adding slots. There are 2 different slots, 5 for the back support and 6 larger ones for the seat.

Concept 1

This children's chair is made up of three components. The main frame is firstly folded into place then the 2 slots are folded and added to support the body.

Cardboard children's chairs

Some examples of cardboard chairs for kids...

Children's chairs

Some examples of children's chairs I have found...

Design:Made:Trade

I have chosen to design a children's chair for this event for children of people visiting the exhibition. Because the Royal Exhibition Building does not have much spare room inside, I was planning to have an outdoor sheltered space next to the building for children activities (such as drawing/art and craft etc.) where the cardboard chairs will be used.
